I Mean It:

Left my house key somewhere, so I'm here at work, it's... 4 am.

Boy, I need a utility that will do that to all my source. I'll be able to say things like, "I wrote an entire service charging infrastructure using only the letter J." all the defines and typedefs go in a header file called j.j. To be really maniacal, I'd go and write a text output routine from scratch, using the letter J.

One thing you see a lot of in code tutorials on the web is "#include" on a line by itself. At first I thought that it just implied "include the usual craps", but what it really means is "I forgot that HTML treats anything in <>s as a tag and doesn't print it literally.

I'm going to keep better records now. It makes sense.

Jesus, I'm already at work, and when everyone else gets in, I'll have been here for 7 hours! Naah. No way am I going to be here. I'll leave a note, something like "Spent All Night Working On VSX. No Longer Understand Grammatical Conventions. Going Home."

There! All done. "Spent 7 hours working on ics encryption. Going to sleep for a long time." NOw I can sit here waiting for 7:00 am, at which time I'll walk home and hopefully arrive at the precise moment at which Ed is exiting the building. Realistically, I'll be insanely early, but this part of the plan has to be fail safe or else I'll be locked out for another 12 hours.



Dropped COKE like a dyslexic noodle deal yesterday. Teeth are bad. So all today I had mouthfuls of cold water to make my teeth hurt. Pain is more tolerable than itching. Uh, hence scratching. These caffeine pills aren't working. I think sugar is just as important to my kitteriness.
