23:31What they do when you are sad:
I got fucking FIRED, and I didn't WANT to get fucking FIRED.
Okay, trying again minus Q. Tarantino in P. Fiction: I was surprise fired, no notice, today's-your-last. I calmly gathered all my stuff and cleaned up my area. Then I went looking for new jobs. I know what I want to do, and my resume looks pretty good for it. I'm going to be a programmer at a local tech firm. They might not know it yet, but they will when they come into work tomorrow. I hope to have solid contact before the week is out. I've already got my first misguided recruiter ("work in CA! Dahah!") and I've got a seperate mailbox set up for those. My cell phone works now, at least, so I shouldn't miss any calls.
Still, I don't know what to do right NOW. I want to talk to someone. I spoke to Brett. About an hour after he found out I was fired, he got a job offer from another company, and he took it. They don't know yet, because he's going to give them as much notice as they gave me. (i.e. 0)
