27: "Weekly Claims"

    3 : 59 A.M.
    Whiteout

Today's movie: Tom Cruise as Running Yucky Eyeball Transplant Future Cop! It was ok. My question is, is the last part of the movie just John's fantasy as he rests halo'ed in the prison tube thing? (The "Brazil" style ending) When the guy's putting him in, he does mention that some people say all your dreams come true in there.

Now I'm chilling out, CURL style in my semi-compromised secret apartment. Enjoying something cool in the gleeful lonesome way you can enjoy stuff by yourself. It sure wouldn't be cool with anyone else in the house. It won't be cool the second time around. This is the only time.

dum dee dum listening to music

  1. "Midlife Crisis" - Faith No More, Angel Dust - the perfect song? I think so.
  2. "Locusts" - Spahn Ranch, The Coiled One - Oh wait, unless you're in a worse mood, in which case this one is.
  3. "Help Us, Save Us, Take Us Away", KMFDM, Money - I remember when all I wanted was to be helped, saved, or taken away.
  4. "Comatose (v2.0)", Front Line Assembly (Eat Static), Re-Wind - If you're cycling up a long hill, then THIS is the perfect song.

    But then what about:

Cage & Aquarium - tmbg (scariest and best tmbg song. short, too)
This Corrosion - sisters o mercy (introduced me to the world of overdramatic dark clothes wearing people)
Check One - leftfield (toasting is stupid. except in this song! wow! too bad it was in "Hackers".)
Carousel - Mr. Bungle (although patton was still in his nasal phase)
Rhino Jockey - Amon Tobin (I say again - tank driving music)
Minus - ohGr (too new to have any memories associated with it)
Fucked Equipment - Babyland (i feel like we all have the fucked equipment)
Industry - Cubanate (or Skeletal, but minus points for being in "Gran Turismo")
AAA - Strapping Young Lad (a coworker once mocked me for listening to "angry music" when I played this at work. wonder what i had to be angry about?)

It's good to know what part of someone else's personality, whether you love or hate it, is really you.

Whiteout - Killing Joke (or "Requiem", but it's so old by now it kind of sounds like Rush already)
Shipwreck - Chris Connelly ("I won't hold my breath as it sweeps me away." oogh.)
Scum Of The Earth - Mentallo & The Fixer (I don't know what the hell is going on music)
Get Down - Butthole Surfers (good for driving somewhere I don't want to be)
Tornado - Mindless Self Indulgence (kind of dorky, but I like these guys)
Inquisition - Skinny Puppy (boy it's hard to choose just one. But this song is Skinny Puppy for me. And Sam, to some extent. Oh weird, I don't have Last Rights on CD. Just tape!)
101 North - Tomahawk (this was pretty crazy live. SHUT UP)

Some new music wouldn't hurt. Well, it would hurt my budget, I guess. But I filed for bumemployment today so I'm okay.
