    Sounds like Yoshi!

After my bike ride today, I saw this little round discoloration on my hand. It looked kind of like a bruise, but more reddish-brown than blue or black. What IS that thing? I figured I must have wacked my hand on something - it's right over a bony part.

But then, it doesn't hurt at all, and it's kind of the same color as the burn or tan or whatever it is I got while I was out today. Yes, it is possible to change color in the Seattle sun. But why the hell would I get a dot shaped tan?

Oh right. I guess that means there's one on my other hand, too. I feel like a Yin-Yang.

There was some other really important thing I wanted to write down. What was it? Hmm. Was it really important? Oh, no, I remember what it was - Krispy Kreme donuts on the second day are hereby rechristened "sugary doughturds". They are vile. If you have KK donuts, eat them right away or toss them.

Also, I've spent several weeks attempting to "season" my cast iron skillet thing, by cooking various tasty foods in it and waiting for this "coating" to build up on the inside (because you never actually clean a skillet with soap). Fried chicken, bacon, etc. I have just recently learned that if you cook ordinary hot dogs JUST ONCE in a skillet, then everything you cook in it for days after will pick up faint hints of hot dog. Also, your whole house will have frankfurter breath while the thing is on the stove.
