23:32Waga waga waga:
I have a song stuck in my head. It is from a japanese hair gel commercial featuring these penguins.
Guy on bus: "So I blew up his car, set his motorcycle on fire, went to where he works and spit in his face! That's what I do when someone messes with my friends. I have just two friends; everyone else can go to hell." (He was talking to this woman next to him re: a guy who was hitting on her)
Next show: thursday. I hope it goes better. More specifically, I hope we get to play our entire set. What we've learned from the last gig: make your set such that you can warm up during the first song or so. THEN your really good songs, THEN catch your breath, THEN the finishers. Well, that's the current idea, anyway. Kris though the horn drivers had been blown, because he wasn't getting any sound out of the P.A. when he set it up at home. He ordered new drivers and everything. I went over there today and noted that the sequenced equipment (which he had been using to test the P.A.) was plugged into an OUTPUT. Woopsie. I guess we'll have backup horn drivers. Note to self: get some hair ties with better elastic.
On the bus home today, this woman with purple sparkly hair and an interestingly matching outfit sat in the seat in front of me. I couldn't stop staring, it was fascinating. I wanted to tell her that she looked like magic. We got off at the same stop and headed in opposite directions. Bye, magic lady.
"like magic" more often used to describe the behavior of cleaning products / tools on infomercials.
MAn, you know I'm just doing the best I can. I dunno, I'm just doing it. I figure that's what everyone else is doing too. If not.. Khhh. Get head on straight, get perspective of situation, get going where you're gonna be going, get in control
