So when I was at the mall, I was actually going towel shopping. I hadn't realized that towels came in such a wide variety. My purpose was to get Javina some really nice towels so she didn't have to use my skanky ol' black towels while she was visiting. Towels come in qualities ranging from the 7 dollar "made of... stuff" kind to the 40 dollar 100% egyptian cotton ones. In this case, my requirements were twofold: 1) it has to be very very soft and absorbent 2) it has to be a cool color. Fortunately, there were some luminous purple ones (about the same color as her Current Journal) that were of high quality, so I got those, and a set of black ones to complete the color scheme. I'm thinking about getting some for myself now. I hope they come in neon green.

I rented a guitar from Long and McQuade in Canada, and put down a $220 deposit, and it looks like they haven't refunded it to me, so in essence, I bought that guitar. Dammit. I don't have time to go to Canada again just to get money.

I'm out of desk space, of course, and so I've now reverted to an early portland-period "Floor" style office. I plan on getting the next desk in January next year. Perhaps I'll order it after I get the paycheck AFTER the rent paycheck. Then palm pilot then we'll see.
