After all that crap yesterday, I finally decided that Earth is perhaps an immature organism in its own
way, posessing an individuality that is beyond our comprehension. We're like cells to it, doing things
that advance the planet's interests without knowing the goal, only that we want to do them. All our efforts are going towards the maturation of this planet-system
thing. We think we're it, though. Do the killer-T cells in your blood think (as much as they can manage to think) that
they are "it"? That a human is just a place to live? Anyway, that means that everything that is happenning is exactly what is supposed to be happenning.
(Could it be taken further, saying that human relationships are like the relationships between nerve cells? When groups of associates form, the collective
planet-thingie "learns" something, and when people break apart, it "forgets"?) (Too bad we'll never know. Nerve cells probably never know why they move
neurotransmitters from place to place, either.)
So, if I believe that, it means that we should all go on doing what it is we're doing, whether that be changing what we're doing,
or whatever...uh... because we can't know what the point is, it's beyond our mere selves. We contribute to a higher consciousness that might be a particle
of an even bigger flea, blah blah blah
Don't go thinking I believe in anything, though. I'll come up with a better one some other idle day.
