Another late night coding session, though I'm actually taking
the opportunity to write some music which has needed writing for a while. This note links to a realaudio rendition of what I was listening to all day. The note at the end of the entry is today's output.
The wheel mouse is a pretty good thing. Maybe it started off when someone decided that a mouse should also work when it's upside down, though for an auxilliary function, sort of like a pencil and its "erase" mode.
(users of Wacom tablets are already familiar with its dual-sided stylus). Well, what happens when you turn a mouse upside down normally? You get a really lame trackball and you keep accidentally clicking the buttons.
With the new WHEEL mouse, you can scrol lthe window up and down! Auxilliary! Except for two things: it's inconvenient to turn the mouse upside down and it turns out to be really fun to twiddle the mousewheel rightside up. Yay! I seem to remember
a mouse with a trackball in the TOP, too. But I don't think that's a great idea. Next: the upside-down keyboard.
