20: In The Kitchen

    If I had a ham

Oh dear. I lost a whole day. I stayed up real REAL late, and then slept until 11:30 at night. So I didn't really get a lot of job-searching done. I'm thinking I needed to fund a sleep deficit, and my body realized that I didn't need to go to work or anything, so heck. Might as well pay it off now.

Uh, other news... I tried wearing my contacts out of the house, and in only a few hours my eyes got all red and started burninating. Maybe I didn't cleanse them correctly, or maybe my eyes are just out of practice. That's what I get for being lazy and wearing glasses all the time. Gotta get back in practice.

I'm trying to have a "morning routine". Usually I wake up and immediately proceed into free-form time allocation. Well, now I'm gonna try and have breakfast, then a shower first, then put in the contacts and go do some chores. Then job search. Then break for lunch. Then I dunno what.

I'm out of rice. Out of eggs. Out of bread. Out of Milk. Out of fruit. Out of veggies. Out of meat. Out of chocolate chips. Out of soup. What did I buy last time i was at the grocery store? Powdered sugar. Why do I keep doing this? I have a ton of powdered sugar, yet for some reason every time I'm in the baking supplies aisle, I see the powdered sugar and think "oh, better pick up a box while I'm here - don't want to run out of that". I think I'm up to 3 boxes now? Maybe I had a traumatic experience involving a shortage of powdered sugar sometime in my youth. Whatever the reason, all I'm left to eat is powdered sugar and flour. What can you make with that? Powdery white surprise is what.

Man I hate gettin' creative in the kitchen.

Witness the madcap fun of scraping together a meal out of chicken wings and last night's rice.
Know why you can't buy boneless chicken wings? Cause that would be le empty package.
Can you spot the toaster?
